Remember That “Ambitious Smoothie” I Referred to Yesterday…? It’s here!

Beet & Greens Protein Shake:

One pre-roasted choggia beet,

Handful of kale,

Handful of spinach,

1 cup unsweetened almond milk,

1tsp each of spirulina & unsweetened cocoa powder,

1tbsp ground chia seeds,

A handful of blueberries,

1 scoop protein powder,

1/4-1/2 cup cold water and one ice cube 🙂

I warn you, this is very “beety” in flavor, so make sure you like that! If not, add more fruit (like a banana to absorb some of the beet flavor), a teaspoon of honey and/or more cocoa powder.
